Palo Studio

Privacy Policy

Palo Studio is a flamenco practice app for iPhone. The essentials, up front: no account is required, the app does not track you across other apps or websites, and your data is never sold.

Last updated 29 July 2026.

What the app handles

Anonymous usage analyticsPalo Studio records anonymous product-interaction events — for example, which features are opened — using TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service. These events are not linked to your identity and are not used to track you. They may include general technical details such as app version, device model, and iOS version. TelemetryDeck is designed to work without storing IP addresses or persistent personal identifiers.

MicrophoneWith your permission, the app uses the microphone so you can record yourself playing over the compás. Any such audio is processed and stored on your device. It is not uploaded to us and is not shared with third parties.

App settingsYour preferences — selected palo, tempo, and other in-app settings — are stored locally on your device so the app remembers them between sessions.

What the app doesn't do

Data retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained by our analytics provider only for as long as needed to understand product usage and improve the app. Microphone recordings and app settings live on your device and are removed when you delete them or uninstall the app.

Children

Palo Studio is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices

You can revoke microphone access at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. Deleting the app removes locally stored settings and recordings from your device.
